I am a very rational person. I need proof or at least a clear hypothesis and explanation why something is in a certain way and why is it possible... and DMT is of course a great menace to simple linear thinking, for which I am grateful, but I believe in strict rational assessment of the experience, not taking anything at face value...
Although the level of realism and conviction in reality of the DMT experience is THE SAME as the conviction of my own existence - if I doubt certain experiences it feels like I have to rationally deny them the same way as I would have to deny my own existence and experience of "ordinary reality" - even if we know it is only a consensual perception - it is still the one in which we are anchored and which is firmly perceived most of the time. But the DMT insight seems to be of equal, if not greater "realism"... doesn't seem to be just a part of this reality, but even larger or "foundational" to this reality...
Now to the actual question - who firmly believes in Alien contact after having the DMT experience?
My first experience was an "aha" moment, the clearly felt presence of Aliens (non-antropomorphic, really "alien", beyond our sci-fi ideas) that made it clear they are here from who knows when and maybe even built this place... Now, I always get the same presence, but lack the means to properly communicate... it just seems to be - "hello, we are here".
Is the amount of such alien experiences increasing? Is some sort of "contact" in progress? Are people like Andrew Gallimore on to something? When I learned about his ideas it immediately clicked with me... I guess he feels the realism of aliens in a similar way... as something concrete, not imagined or hallucinated... not some higher-self, etc.
I even get the alien presence on average dose of psilocybe mushrooms... At around 3g, at the peak, I enter the same hyperspace, get the same alien presence - like some "portal" was opened and I get in contact with the same "thing"... But fail to communicate meaningfully... I wish to get some proof, something to influence this reality... some technology or applicable ideas that could make the contact widespread and public and maybe change our world to a better place... Then again - rationality kicks in and I have to ask - is this "real real" or just my subjective experience...
So, who believes in aliens with some level of certitude?
