I let it stir for a few hours with a magnetic stirrer after adding the nap. The 500ml or so of nap has a bunch of different color layers and when I pulled the nap it has base soup in it. It has sat for 2 days with no change.

I did not do a defat beforehand and intended to try a mini AB at the end to clean it up.

Any idea how to best recover? Should I suck up all of the nap and trapped soup and do the mini AB at this point?

Don't use a magnetic stirrer! When I was a newbie I purchased a magnetic stirrer for dmt extractions and it was nearly impossible to separate the solvent from the solution. Dont shake and dont use a magnetic stirrer. Just use a large spoon with gloves and eye protection.

Use a glass bottle, try to fill it up as much as you can with solvent + basic soup (minimize amount of air) and roll it gently on something soft like a carpet for couple of minutes. This breaks the existing emulsion and avoids creating new one. Let the bottle rest and repeat the rolling like 10 times. DO NOT SHAKE!
Additionally, heating your mix in waterbath to bring the solvent to almost boiling point will break the emulsion.
