I always do the 95, cause I figure I'm washing out the goods with fasw or now preciping out with fasipa. Prepare for a bit of a wait with them though. I have never had an order arrive in less than 2 weeks. seems like there is always a delay of some kind.. they do always give me a 5% 1-time coupon code for the trouble though. No idea what D-limo should sell for, but I got a gallon from citrus depot (http://shop.citrusdepot.net) for $39.
It shipped the day after I ordered it, and it seemed like it came pretty quickly (was right around Christmas so I wasn't expecting then to set any speed records).

SWIM would probably use 98.5%, as well, if he had such funds, but he also has no problems with 95%. Be sure to get a lot, as it's so very essential to modern psychonautica.

So with the 95%, is the rest just water? Does it only form layers after a certain saturation point? And in this case, could MgSO4 dry it?

http://www.floridachemic...com/whatisd-limonene.htmsome good info on how this solvent is made in the industry. it appears that the food grade stuff is collected thru vacuum distillation at a certain point along a column from the oil that is the result of orange juice extraction. the equipment is all food grade. the tech grade is steam extracted oil from the Remaining peels-then distilled. the oil is exposed to more machinery/equipment along the way, but those pipes are probably quite clean by now, but probably not sanitary stainless steel as the food grade stuff is exposed. all this said, --interesting to know, but that is only how they do it at Florida chem. a local supplier told a friend that the only difference between the two grades is the food grade stuff has been batch verified to be food grade, and it and the tech grade come off the same valve at the plant. i just sanded a 3" thick maple bench block now desk, and wiped it clean with d-limonene. it is beautiful, and smells good
