PerPLexED has a few different brands of e-cigs and it seems plausible that vaping spice in it would work. He is trying to figure out the best means of doing this in a way that desired effects could be reached with minimal wasted product. There is a "cotton" that holds the liquid and when you suck through creates a vapor containing the alkaloids. Would it be best to use few drops of liquid freebase spice? How would one measure dosages? Or would it be better to make a solution using vegetable glycerine? What kind of ratios would be used? I don't think any of the ecigs use vaporization, they use a nictone mist delivered like a mini-aerosol in a semi-liquid state. They could deliver salvia tincture nicely.

IF DMT freebase is soluable in either PG or VG it MIGHT work. I am not convinced one can get enough DMT dissolved into room temperature PG or VG for this to even be possible. you'd need A LOT of dmt freebase/ml of glycerin/glycol base for this to work maybe as high as 60-100mg/ml, maybe more Possilby would work on a modified ecig with multiple atomizers. Love my ecig for nicotine though, been 2 weeks since I've had a tobacco product. The Spice extends life

I believe I was referring to liquification of spice in order to load it into the device, not the vaporization; I would imagine similar methods would be used for both (use of particular solvents, salt-forms, or oxidized spice). I believe it's also been discussed in related threads that certain ecigs use ultrasonic nebulization, as a side note.

I think the idea of smoking through a Ecig is quite good idea (wheather it is possible or not?) always like to try new ways of administration  (but i well jealous you all got a GVG and only using a chillum)

i thought about this, even tried it. But once i got to trying it, I quickly realized that it just wouldnt work. It doesnt seem to burn hot enough at all, and even if it did, the things burn so slowly that a its like 1-3ml = 1-2packs of cigarettes worth of nicotine.... and a cigarette is like 4mg or so of nicotine I think.... anyways, it would be hard to fit a single dose of DMT into the place it needs to go, even without dissolving it in anything..... Atomization != Vaporization
It would take entirely way too long to get a significant dose out of it, and that's if you're able to dissolve one to begin with.
Wouldn't it be nice though?

hey, so to revive this....
why couldn't you dissolve dmt into propylene glycol and vape it in an ecig? if you just put some DMT and some PG in a vial, capped it, and heated it in some warm water, wouldn't it dissolve?

It was bad idea! The degree of dissolving turned out to be beside zero... Now i expect what PG behaves also. But why you wanted to choose PG? I would have to ask 'in what situation do you need to smoke dmt out of something that looks like a plastic cig?'. Why not use a bowl or bong? Or even roll it into a blunt with caapi or mj. <3 Those are the best.
