I have did a few extractions now and scraping is always annoying due to the bevel in these glass cooking pans. Is there a square glass pan with right angles that I can buy somewhere? I'd like to be able to scrape the sides with a razerblade and not be stuck on the rounded bevel.

I've seen square ceramic and glass dishes, but never with a right angle. If the bevel is not too deep you can still bend the razorblade a little bit and get in there.

We had the same problem and common A4 paper works well for scraping Smile

Cut out small rectangle out of it, scrape and wonder why would you use razor in the first place.

Some vintage divided glass relish dishes have walls which have crisper angles. They are all over Ebay. Some are even kind of trippy. Very happy

Also, if you don't have one get a Precision Hobby Knife Kit. The flat tip blade makes scraping a breeze.

Or re dissolve the stuff in the corners via iso, ethanol, nps, etc and reclaim using your favorite method, i.e. enhanced leaf, re-x...

Btw, sorry for offtopic: I tried ISO to wash off some cannabis oils and evaped it onto tobacco. While smoking it, it has some odour/taste, similar to deodorant or some cosmetics - do you know if this is normal for Isopropyl alcohol? I have 99% iso, bought from chemical supplies store.

You could try evaporating some of the IPA by itself to see if there is a residue, but I've never experienced that with 99% IPA. But it is very easy to pick up contaminants somewhere else in the process; just a quick exposure to IPA will dissolve all sorts of things into your solution. It could even be soap residue or something on your dish. I generally wash my glassware and dishes with acetone before using.

I've experienced what you've just described. I get the last of the bho out of little glass containers using 91% iso and have sometimes noticed the taste. I've let the reclaimed oil sit and eventually the flavor will evap off.

Yeah, I'd imagine that would really mess up your weed. Terpenes are soluble in iso, i think, as well as the other cannabinoids.

evaporation and super saturation should be achieved. precipitation occurs at room temp and lower, warm slightly goes back for transfer to more confined glass, semi air tight container. this does a lot of the 'scraping' for you.
