Hey guys, I read in Terence Mckenna's True Halucinations that a shaman committed murder using DMT as the weapon. Supposedly the shaman painted the top rungs of a ladder with a DMT containing resin that absorbs through the skin on contact and. The victim fell from his from from the ladder to his death due to the sedation/dizziness caused by the DMT when he held when he touched the painted rungs.
So is there anything that anyone knows of like that. A topical DMT delivery active without and MOAI? or even a mix of DMT and MOAIs blended together that some how may be active topically? Does anyone have any experience with something like this?

DMT does not absorb through the skin. people have even tried with something called DMSO which quickens the bodies ability to absorb through tissues. Thread is here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=1200
Mckenna has said a lot of very wise things, but has also has said a few things that dont make a lot of sense, and seem more of an anecdotal story to capture peoples attentions than anything. However, psilocybin absorbs through the skin (or at least many people seem to think so when they pick or handle, including myself).

Ive tryed to apply dmt topicly by first mixing it into a natural skin barrier penetration enhancer like [aloe gell] or also [australian dream cream] that contains histamines that cause the applyed area on the skin in any part of the body in area applyed.. causing blood vessels to expand increasing blood circulation to that spot transdermally...
My hope was that mixing dmt into histamnine cream.. might open the door for transdermal dmt absorbtion better..
I tryed twice to do this with dmt and got a low dose sleepy dmt effect only/?
But what i used was dmt that still had some fats and impuritys in it..
I read also about the molecule size and weight must be right to pass through the skin barriers..
Were talking transdermal science here... maybe some one on this site with more schooling on this subject could try this aproach using histamine cream with a more pure dmt or some other substance to enhance skin penitration...
It would be very convenient to apply dmt to ones forarm and enter hyperspace some day in the future...

I forgot to mention that its proven that when on a hot day.. the human skin sweats and skin pores are open ..the skin will abbsorbe more agents into it twice as fast..
Meaning that simply appling a heat pad to ones fore arm will open skin pores in spot heat is applied enhansing absorbtion more than twice the normal rate causing blood vessels to diolate
This heat effect can cause some transdermal patches to release the medicine much faster than intended risking a release of too much medicine too fast! .
[again] the dmt molecule must be within the right size and weight to pass through the dermal tissue.

Thanks guys. It looks like this is incident is probably untrue. While it does look like you can achieve some minor effects using DMT transdermally, I seriously doubt the uptake could be fast enough to debilitate someone one on contact for a few seconds. Though this does look like an interesting area for further exploration. Perhaps some sort of topical application to be absorbed slowly though the night for dream enhancement or something the like...

what's about DMSO ? could work perhaps but the story with the ladder sounds pretty shitty don't think so It's the job that's never started as takes longest to finish. - J.R.R. Tolkien
How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it. - Alexander Shulgin
