I did read the goo post, but I don't believe it is goo that I am dealing with.

Today I decided to Re-X a few grams from product extracted from mimosa using cybs hybrid tek. Most of this material was collected doing pulls while the basic mixture was still warm, so there was quite a bit of yellow in there. (I notice that when I pull from cool solution there isn't nearly as much yellow stringyness when the solvent is in the freezer.)

After the Re-X process using hot naphtha, the residue in the jar looks exactly as the picture in cybs tek does, an orange sludge. Now that the sludge in the bottom has dried, it is a pumpkin orange, grainy consistency that has a tryptamine taste.

Obviously, it is very difficult to decant every last drop of naphtha, which could account for the taste, but after seeing the picture of the xylene crystal in the goo post, I'm starting to think it is mostly active product. (Wish I suppose was the point of the goo post sticky)

I am going to try another cleanup with fresh naphtha and see what happens.

EDIT: Indeed, there was much active material in this orange crustiness. A second Re-X of the leftover material left only a thin film of orange slime on the bottom of the jar, and there are crystals forming in the freezer already.

I am going to go ahead and assume that the naphtha in the first round was unable to carry the entirety of product, and so much was left behind. I did not measure out the naphtha on the first go, assuming what I had poured in there was plenty.
