Hey everyone! I'm considering Cyb's max ion tekk and I went through every major supply chain that's around in my country and couldn't find distilled vinegar. Is it really necessary to use distilled one? I could order one of course but ordering 2$ item seems wasteful to me.

I've used "non-distilled" version of vinegar since I couldn't find any and it works.

As far as I know, any alcoholic vinegar must be distilled prior to selling (as far as the process go) so it doesn't need to say it's "distilled".

Ye that's what other people on the interwebs are saying too. Although I found a brand that is selling several types of vinegar + one type of distilled vinegar soooo... I don't know guess I'll try with normal one and will see.

Just looking for normal " white vinegar" in the US you will typically find it also under the name of " distilled white vinegar" Pretty much youre just going for white vinegar. It should be a PH of about 2-3 if I remember correctly, and should be be an achievable PH if applied to a dry medium diluted 1:1 in water.

So just get your self which ever clean looking white vinegar you can find, it should be about 2 dollars like you said maybe a quarter less or more.. and use it as instructed in your desired tek.

Ye I got some bio white vinegar and it is pH 3. So I'll just mix it with required amount of distilled water and follow the tekk.

Neither 'distilled vinegar', 'white vinegar', nor 'spirit vinegar' are actually distilled. They are basically different countries names for filtered vinegrated wine made from distilled alcohol.
If it looks like water and has no solids it should be fully equivalent to american 'distilled vinegar'.
