advice on sharing spice Options

My friend has been experimenting with enhanced leaf blends mixed into rolling tobacco cigarettes. (Joints without the weed, I guess). He has had several wonderful, sub breakthrough experiences. He has been putting about 150mg of 1:2 spice / herb leaf into these joints and has found this to be a fantastic way to familiarise himself with spice before taking a full dose to breakthrough in a bong. At times it has been totally involving and the dose can be "topped up" by taking a few more draws on the J. It is nothing too intense, but still a unique, powerful and fantastic experience.

He is meeting with some good, trusted friends next weekend whom he has tripped with many times, but none of them (indeed no one at all) knows about my friends extraction and research into spice. He would love to share one of these changa joints amongst them, as he feels they would enjoy and learn from the experience.

My question is what do people think about sharing spice in this way? How have others introduced friends to spice? There is no intention to "push" a breakthrough dose on anyone, just to share what my friend has already experienced. What are your thoughts?

Mate sounds perfectly fine, good luck. I just load a person up with a cone. If they want to try then give it to them to try. If they find out they don't like it, then

I find the best way to introduce someone is by lighting up a bowl of low dose changa (I use hash oil as my carrier, but leaf matter works great), let them smell it and observe how you act on it before you offer it to them. Most people who have heard of DMT don't even think twice about trying it, and most people who have never heard of it are very skeptical, so you have to show them that it is fine.

This is a very good question.

It may be overkill, and it may be about Ayahuasca, but this article is a very nice introduction to the "DMT Context."

Yeah. I just offer it, along with the comfort of my support and appreciation of it. If they don't want it then fine, it's not for everyone. If they do then you will have a new hypernaut friend.

I would caution you about using the spice regularly in mild doses, as a recreational "get-away" however. Using it too much in any sense can lead to breakthrough blockage (sounds painful Pleased) or launch fizzle as I like to call it. You can read countless posts about it on here. People who have suddenly lost the ability to break through. It happened to me early on, and fortunately people on this site helped me get my breakthroughs back. Now I like to take a "go big", but less often approach to it.

I'm not preaching. Just throwing in my two cents.

Peace,
-idt

…is DMT dangerous? The answer is only if you fear death by astonishment… [crowd laughter]… Remember how you laughed when this possibility was raised… a moment will come that will wipe the smile right off your face.

Thanks Acolyte, interesting article. Do you find people get this same "mirror" effect from high dose smoked DMT as they seem to with aya?

idtravlr, yeah I hear you, I don't think approaching it as a get away is sensible. I have really just been trying to adjust to the feeling of spice. Having gone a little deeper with the bong last night, I know preparation is practically impossible, but it is just my way of getting in the right frame of mind and building the courage to rip three hits in one go. It is a daunting prospect, but I'll get there!

I found that when I first was accessed to the spice, I was using small amounts quite occasionally, sometimes daily just to tread in the waters and check the temperature and what have you. But now it seems I only use it maybe monthly, sometimes 2x in a month sometimes not for maybe 3 months.

It's strange when you get the calling though Smile
