In my hyperspace travels I have noticed one thing - the color of hyperspace depends on wether I have the lights in my room on or off.

If I'm travelling with the lights on, hyperspace and most things in it will be fiery orange - the same colour I see when I close my eyes in a lit room. If I turn the lights off, everything will be black. This leads me to believe that the images of hyperspace are projected on the back of my eyelids and that my conciousness is still in the same room with me, rather than a different dimension.

I am asking you, fellow psychonauts, what do you think about this? Have you noticed anything similar and if yes, does this impact your opinion on the reality of hyperspace?

What colour theme are your trips in the dark?

After my first trip I came to this forum and the questionaire asked me to invent a colour. I tried to explain a colour mixed between orange and purple. These seem to be quite vivid in my trips although I haven't seen a link to setting before. I'm guessing there is probably some link to setting with the colours of the trip however I feel like my trips have been so varied and seem to express all of the colours.

I do remember meeting a young woman in my trips a couple of times. She is the fun one and takes me on the daring adventures. She is always dressed in orange and now I remember she reminds me of Tracer from Overwatch.

One trip I did in the dark that was particularly high energy exploded me into a white room where I saw a angel like image made of infinite colour.

All trips are so different I don't believe that link could be true all the time.

For me it does the same on mid-doses (20-30) and that's why I prefer to trip with lights on or during day time. Tripping in darkness kinda gives visuals brownish/darkish colour.

I think that's because these experiences are sub-breakthrough sideshows. They kinda give you a peek at what you will encounter. During breakthrough it doesn't matter when your eyes are closed or open or is there light or not, you don't have eyes.

When you breakthrough, you won't doubt hyper reality of hyper space.
