Any one ever have any trouble with this and know what it is

Yeah, my cacti have had that too. Check for tiny orange mites. They will be a similar colour but very tiny and moving around. Misting regularly with water helps to keep them in check and a quick soaking with 91% IPA is said to kill off most unwanted arthropods.
