I just finished my first extraction today. I followed Max Ion.

This evening I went about trying my newly discovered spice. I am a newbie when it comes to smoking anything, I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't smoke weed so not really much experience when it comes to smoking. I tried first to vape using an RDA from a 30mg concentrated into about 6 drops of PG. That was rough, I couldn't actually hold a full lungful for any meaningful amount of time. So I switched over to a ceramic disc type vaporizer attachment. I put 30mg of spice on the ceramic doughnut and tried again. So rough the smoke numbed my throat and was super painful.

Is it just my lack of smoking expertise? Or is it this rough usually?

I only got enough effect to feel slightly altered, similar to the beginnings of a mushroom body high.

Thoughts?

DMT vapour isn't normally that harsh. Though the first time you vape pg it can be pretty intense, many cough their guts out.

Were you very careful when pulling the solvent not to suck up any of the basic solution? That is known to make the smoke extremely harsh.

I did try the PG without anything in it prior and it wasn't bad. Though I may have got a little bit of the base in there. I'm going to re-x today and try to clean it up.
