I've been searching for answers.... Answers I cannot find!
I've heard about people twitching and people experiencing vibration ,
I still have a twitch in my left eye from Sunday (which doesn't worry me)
But when I took the last hit I felt a strong vibration in my head is that normal? Is that to be expected? I also had some violent eye twitching and jaw twitching again is that normal?
I don't know much really about what to expect about dmt and I would like to continue to explore hyperspace as long as I'm assured that others have this sensation and it's common thanks guys

The thing with these bodily sensations, i might add, is that you never really know how "real" they are. It can seem as you eye is feeling weird, twitching, your jaw feels weird or you've stoppped breathing. Everything is possible - but that does not necessarly mean there is a bodily response that is measurable from the outside.

Sometimes, even small sensations are blown out of proportions and are felt more intensely than you would have felt sober.

That seems very reasonable and also comforting! Thanks for your reply Thumbs up
Maybe next time I decide I'm mentally prepared to try and take the plunge into the unknown again your explanation will help me relax and let go more to breakthrough ......
Maybe going to try again Sunday coming or the Sunday after (because I have a house free from children on Sunday's)
But I would like to leave atleast bare minimum a week between trying.
Your follow up reply was really helpful,
Thanks! If we don't speak again soon have a merry Christmas and all the best Cool

Perhaps the jaw clenching/twitching is also due to your anxiety ..or rather a way of your body to deal with the intense sensations you are experiencing. Let's be honest here, it can feel really intense, especially if you are not used to it. That was something that has surprised me tremendously. I knew it could be intense from a mental level but i never paid a thought to what my body would actually feel.

I used to remind myself, that i wanted this and that i would have to accept what was happening. Of course this is much easier after you were able to establish some trust.

The best mindset i have found is to give yourself over to the experience as much as possible. This is easier said than done though....

Here are some metaphors for the "approach" you can take:

- Imagine yourself in a pool of water, taking a deep breath to float on your back. Then, exhale and allow yourself to gently sink to the bottom of the pool....

- Imagine a knife going through butter. Then, imagine you are the knife and the butterstick goes on and on forever....

A merging, a sinking, allowing it to fully embrace you...allow yourself to be stared at by it and become the "stare". Allow that intense feeling to be the wind that carries you away like a feather. The vibration gets deflected somehow if we are tense, but if you allow it to do so, it will penetrate you and it might seem more like a soul massage of some sort.

Yes I wasn't prepared for the physical side of things TBH and maybe your right about the anxiety side of things,
Just what you have said and explained has really helped my state of mind on what happened and will defo help me relax.
I'm going to be having another go on Sunday so I will be sure to let you know how I get on!
Have you had any good experiences lately?
