Which one am I better off trying to store long term? And about how long should/will each last? I have been searching for answers and find all types of answers. Nothing on powder. I have read it oxidizes after sometime(?) I would like to get alot(kilo) of powder so as to have in case of a shortage and just wondering if I should extract to fb or leave as is. Or just order when needed. By long term I'm talking years. I did read one account of someone smoking changa after 3 years and it was fine. No mention as to how it was stored. Cool dry place, freezer and wait till room temp so as not to have condensate in the bottle. Everything I read was at least 8 years old. So what do the gurus say as to storage of freebase and change. Im not converting to salt or storing in naptha. Just want to be as educated as I can before making a bunch that will have to be stored. Right now I just have fb powder in folded gloss magazine paper like one might find coke. Thanks for any help.

Your best bet for long term storage is whole or shredded rootbark. If you want optimal conditions just split it up into 100g bags & take one out to extract when you need it.

Changa & freebase store fine if you can keep them in the right conditions but are much more prone to degredarion than rootbark.
