I highly recommend Sonic Bloom to those in those in Colorado. It is always a great time! Shpongle is headlining this year! Simon always puts on a great show! http://sonicbloomfestival.com/"In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link." ~Carlos Castaneda

That's one dude I've wanted to see for gosh knows how long... just never manage to catch it. I can't recommend Electric Forest enough, been my romping ground for the past 5 years. Nothing but GREAT experiences. Though, its pinnacle days might be over at this point. Its getting quite commercialized which is annoying to say the least. Still, no matter how many people I talk to, they always come back to EF as being the best Fest they've been to. In the states that is. Nothing beats the atmosphere. Except for maybe shambhala but that's in Canada. “My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.”

Electric forest is good generally but really commercialized and oversized at this point. There's loads of issues and it's peak is definitely over. But it's worth going at least once just to see the forest itself. I doubt ill be back though after experiencing other fests. Tipper & Friends events are the best ones I've been too, though they aren't doing any more this year. But he is playing some other noteworthy fests like lightning in a bottle and hula. Smaller more psychedelic bass festivals are my favorite. Usually a much better more relatable crowd, great speakers (funktion 1 ), amazing underground lineups, and just all around a better environment for tripping in nature with friends than these 30k people fests that often have worse sound/lineups/crowds. On the east coast try resonance, elements, psychedelic sleepover, down to earth, and tip n friends at suwannee next year. If you like big fests, give hulaween a try...i hear good things and its also at suwannee park, which is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to
<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

Some friends and I have tickets for Noisily festival (5-8 July 2018, UK). An electronic music festival quite local to where I live, have never been but it's meant to be a great craic! http://www.noisilyfestival.com/

Noisily I hear is really good. If I was in the UK I would for sure go. Im going back for my 4th Bass Coast this year, and other small weekend raves. Everyone talks about Shambhala..and I love shamb but I skipped it last year to go to Motion Notion in the rocky mountains, and it's one of the best raves I have seen and still allows kids/dog/psytrance. If I can make it back there I will. Long live the unwoke.

There is such an amazing group going. Would be a shame to miss it... I'm leaving it up to fate at this point. I'm planning to go to a 3 day festival by "The Psychedelic Way" on lake Garda in Italy called " Festival For Life". If anyone's in the country around that time it would be cool to see you there!

Maybe someone who has been to noisily can help me. We want to go but have an eight year old child. Does anyone take kids? I emailed the festival organisers but got nothing back.

I don't remember seeing any kids last year and just found this on their website: "Age policy Noisily is a strictly over 18 event, no children will be admitted. All attendees will be ID’d on entry so please don’t forget it, and anyone under 18 will be refused entry so do not attempt to buy tickets if you are underage, you will not be refunded."

I will likely be going to samsara in Hungary http://samsarafestival.eu/The human being is this night, this empty nothing, that contains everything in its simplicity—an unending wealth of many representations, images, of which none belongs to him—or which are not present. ...
