So here's what's going on....I've extracted like 2 or 3 grams of some pretty little flakes.
First time I tried vaping I did the plastic bottle technique. Rookie mistake. I threw that crap in the trash and just snorted about 125mg of freebase. Good fucking lord did it burn like hell. The pain made the trip very uncomfortable and aggressive. I enjoyed what I saw and felt but did not want to snort that stuff again.
I went to a local smoke shop and picked up a pretty little domeless quartz banger. Several times I've tried smoking out of this piece but had 0 luck with getting anything out of it. Tried different heating times and cooling down times. Nothing. I either burn it or don't heat it enough to vaporize. I've probably wasted a good 300mg trying different techniques. I enjoy extracting, but not wasting. Any tips? Ideas?

put a piece of stainless steel pot scrubber in your device. ( ive read things that some people wash it off in IPA first, and ive read that some people first torch the thing to remove any kind of coating that might be on it. ) put the spice on it, and vape it on that. this will prevent it falling through.  https://vaporgenie.com/c...e-pad-liquids-oils-waxes

Besides the bowl part is extremely tiny. I don't see even a dime fitting in there

If you have the dough, invest in a GVG. I too wasted lots of spice with ineffective methods. Bought a GVG and was astounded at how well it worked. It's so efficient that you don't have to use very much spice either. So in the long run you save some time / money. Worth every penny "If you're going to walk on thin ice, you might as well dance''

@ Hk, I was going to say if you already did have one to try making some juice. It works pretty well but it seems if you were going to invest in anything the gvg is where to do it.

Problem is that spice burns very, very easily. My friend used one of those, but he couldn't help but burn the spice, which renders it much less potent. Even with my little quartz piece, after I've used it a few times, the walls in the little tube piece that connects to the bowl has dmt stuck to it. Go to a supermarket and buy a bottle of tabasco sauce. Buy a drill bit for glass/tile. Drill a hole in the bottom of the bottle. Cut/break off the curved top of the neck of the bottle. Put a plastic tube in the bottom (make it a tight fit). Put a Big stainless wire scrubber screen in the neck. You now have the perfect DMT vaping device, and it cost about $7. Love and laughter
