DMT black out - not sure what happened Options

Well, this was weird. I have a GVG but haven't gotten myself to "break through yet". I had been "testing the waters" with low dose 15mg

I had just a bit of white dmt left, weighed it out as .023g and loaded it onto my flavor disc, nearly a week ago Smile

Ha, it took a few days to work up the courage. Finally did it last night. Here's what I remember.

I was in my Tardis trip room, with the paintings I made glowing and everything. Use the torch, careful not to burn the DMT. I start inhaling, the colors on the walls become SUPER bright... and thats it.

Next thing I know I'm waking up from my couch. I'm under the covers and all I could ask was wtf happened. The DMT was completely gone from the CVG and 45-60 minutes had passed.

I'm not sure what happened but I would guess the ambien I took (to help sleep later) may have had something to do with it. Ambien is known for effecting memory and I can attest to it's effects.

But now I'm out of the fluffy fun stuff Sad

If you want my opinion "blacking out" seems to be heavily associated with dimethyltryptamines, even psilocybin. But of course since DMT is smoked, it's more intense.

If you're careful with the dosage and avoid some substances until an acceptably low amount is within your blood stream, harmaline can calm it down in a way, but as I said you must be careful with your dosage, or else you can be in a hell of a pendulum. You may also want to try harmine, I just suggested harmaline because you mentioned a sedative.

Thanks for the replies and information Thumbs up

It wasn't my intention to take the ambien + DMT but rather I took (a normal 10mg dose) to fall asleep. Ambien doesn't always work for me and sometimes I'll take 2. (May have taken a 2nd 10mg tablet last night).

Anyhow, so I couldn't fall asleep so decided to head down to my room and listen to music, vape a little weed, etc - usually 30-60 minutes of this and I can fall asleep.

I remember looking at the GVG I had loaded a week earlier and decided might as well overcome my fear.

I remember lighting the pipe, the room got really bright and BLANK. Next thing I know I'm waiting up confused on my couch, like I was about to take off and fell asleep instead.

Checked the GVG - all cleared. For all I know I had a full on break through and simply have no memory of it. Weird stuff.

I have nothing good to say about Ambien. But... What happened could have happened with just DMT. There is a point where enough DMT or sometimes other psychedelics in your bloodstream causes a sort of overload. I've seen it happen with both freebase and ayahuasca. Also sounds like the memory loss wiped out a bit before approaching the void as well which isn't entirely abnormal for memory loss.

I wouldn't blame it all on the Ambien. Be careful with dose as well.

For some reason I got Ambien confused with a benzodiazepine... sorry.
