Looking at getting real lab glass. I have plenty of money for a good set up. So far I have some equipment in mind. 1000ml 500ml volumetric flask. 1000ml separatory funnel. 1000ml 500ml 250ml beakers. 1000ml round bottom flask. Condenser coil. Stands and clips. Electric hot plate.

Any suggestions would be great. I plan on doing random chemistry such as collecting essential oils, extracting various alkaloids.

Take a look at this:

They have the products you need. I use those myself. Quality but not cheap.

2L Borosilicate bottle.
Buy a sheet of PTFE on ebay and cutout a circle to naptha proof the bottlecap.

Buy a long pipette 25ml 2 100ml beakers.
Thats all you need for basic dmt extractions.

Dont buy a seperatory funnel. Its not worth it for dmt extractions. You will just gunk up and destroy the funnel with the base soup Confused

SEP funnel is for essential oil seperation😀.

I forgot about pipets thanks!

I will check them out strtman! Thank you!

I'm interested in more than DMT extractions. I want to do lots of chemistry. Doesn't have to be drug related at all. I love science!

Then just get two 1L beakers and lots of 250ml anf and like 5 50ml beakers.

Then it's definitely worth getting a distillation set-up. Then at the very least you'll be able to recycle solvents, or make high proof alcohol.

The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

I personally don't have any fs (fused silica) beakers or flasks, but I do flame-pull fs capillary with a butane micro torch. it takes a couple minutes just to soften it. FS is $$, but it is hands down the best glass.
