I am prescribed pregablin for fibromyalgia. I know that it, like SSRIs is sometimes used for generalised anxiety disorder. As I understand it it works at GABA receptor sites and has no direct interaction with serotonin - but I also know that my knowledge of neurobiology is nowhere near where I would like it to be. Is there a risk of serotonin syndrome or other interactions when changa is smoked?

Thank you Smile

Pregabalin does not require MAOI to process it and works independently of the monoamine neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine); using changa whilst on pregabalin should not present any additional risks.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.
