see title. i started my extraction last night. added naptha. set it in a heat bath with the lid off for a few minutes. returned and placed the lid on, put the jar in the closet and resumed today. found an gigantic dead fly floating in my naptha.

Possibly really stupid question: will this effect the quality of my DMT?!

Nope. It's all carbon anyway.

This fly will be the least amount of insect you've consumed this month probably.

ha, i actually don't have a problem consuming insects. i have used cricket flour for protein purposes. i just wanted to make sure it wouldn't for some reason mess with anything. i follow the teks to a T, mostly because i'm an idiot to chemistry. if something isn't in the recipe, i'm lost.

Maybe it will enhance the BUZZ. Get it?

Found an old instructional video on a similar topic.

It might add some protein but wont affect the dmt Big grin
Take out the fly and let it dry then try to smoke it. Maybe you will get enough dmt with it to get effects. Razz

I would imagine that it wouldn't make any difference but if you pull the fly from the solvent, put it back into a basic solution and then return it to the naphtha, there is a good chance of extracting more dmt from the fly's pineal gland. Therefore helping to enhance the quality of the dmt.
