When one just mixes some extracted light into one's vine brew, will the effects not last as long as those coming from a brew where the light plant was brewed with the vine?

It will be the first time I will be combining extracted spice with a vine brew and I'm wondering if it will compromise duration. I feel like when it's brewed, the stomach needs to extract the spice out of the light plant brew before processing it....perhaps giving the maoi more time to do it's work.....is this absurd? Am I overthinking?
