Any one listen to Dark Star while blasting off? If so, what is your favorite rendition to journey to? I found some cool ones online including one called Grayfolded which draws from over 100 live performances and layers them one on top of another. Pretty incredible stuff.
Another one of my favorites is from the 10/26/89 show in Miami. Jerry's voice is a little raspy but you only here him sing about 5 lines.

Never listened to Dark Star when blasting off, but listened to it lots when stoned. Thanks for the links Smile

Doesn't help much, but there's a stand alone dark star from the early seventies that clocks at twenty minutes or so - perfect!
