Hello,
This is CAT, who is working with a partner DOG to reach a common goal of exploring our pineal gland. Thus, Extracting DMT is our first step towards it. Recently, we have maneuvered a 50g ACRB A/B extraction. Unfortunately we failed to obtain our final product, which is up to 500 mg of DMT. Here, I am going explain what we exactly did and we are counting on you guys to help us figure out what could have went wrong? By means of a pipette we slowly added small amounts concentrated HCl acid to 800 ml of distilled water until a ph of 3 was obtained. The solution had been stirred after each addition and before noting each reading with ph meter. 300 ml of the hcl stock solution was placed in a beaker along with 50 grams of ACRB. The beaker was then placed on a water bath and a temperature of 55-60 degree Celsius was maintained using a thermometer for 2 hours. The content in the beaker was stirred after short intervals and the plant materials were not allowed to stick with the walls of the beaker. By the time 2 hours was completed, the solution had a dark red pigment While the beaker is still on the hot water bath, the following steps were performed. 45 grams of NaCl was added before adding about 120 ml 5M NaOH stock solution. The solution went black and a low grade detergent smell was coming out of the solution A reading with ph meter was taken and the ph was about 13 Now the beaker was heated in the bath for another hour at the same temperature. Then 40 ml of petroleum ether was used for each pull while the free solution was still hot. During each pulls both layers were mixed gently and allowed to separate multiple times. Emulsions were carefully avoided. There was a total of 3 pulls and the colorless petroleum ether became a yellow organic solution. Finally we had 120 ml of the organic solution, which was at first put in the freezer for 24 hours and then evaporated. However we had no precipitation during freezing and nothing was left after evaporation. What could have went wrong? CAT thinks plant material was of low quality and that's why there was no yield. However, DOG highly disagrees because he collected plant material online from a popular site and believes it cannot give him bad product. So, please help us to figure out what went wrong.

Can't see the image you uploaded. Anyway it doesn't sound like anything was done wrong. Sounds like bunk bark would be most likely case. So you got absolutely nothing, no goo or anything? You could just evap off your solvent to see if anything is leftover.

Good luck on future endeavors Smile

Peace
