Looking back to a particularly strange DMT incident... the term "cosmic giggle" (in the mckenna sense) kept comming to mind, and the "cloud Forrest" of Peru, the chachapoya people, and Peruvian flute music were some of the key highlights...
Without going into detail, I can only say that it started as confronting death, and ended in a divine and euphoric mindstate, holy and enlightened, quietly laughing to myself, amused at the understanding regarding life and death that I had obtained.
As I was exiting the experience, sitting on the floor, still in the psilocybin similar transition out of the flash, i could hear music, the television had been on, though this was the first I had noticed it, there was a beautiful scenery of the Peruvian Andes displayed upon the screen, and a beautiful flute music playing over it, it was a documentary on the chachapoya people, the "warriors of the clouds".
...This has always stuck with me, the feeling of divine awakening was what was really significant here, however it has become entangled with this scenery and music attributed to the chachapoya peoples.
I'm not sure this was worth posting, I haven't been able to properly articulate this experiance into anything that would be shareable with others, however the indescribable and linguistically fragmented memory has stuck with me all these years, always with a special significance regarding time dissolving (I left these parts out, again, I have not translated this experiance into language yet, and am still working on describing this experiance), regarding understanding life and death (which was accompanied by a mckenna style "cosmic giggle" feeling ), and lastly regarding the chachapoya.
The chachapoya peoples, the cloud Forrest and the Peruvian flute music all hold specific special significance to this event...
I apologize, I'm sure this all seems pretty pointless, but for what ever reason I was compelled to record and share the event and some of the specifics of its contents.
(this event happened in 2012, and I've never talked about it before )
