Plans for New Years Eve...do you have any? Options

What kind of shenanigans are other Nexians getting into tonight for New Years?

I was planning on going to a psytrance rave a few hours from me, but couldn't make it due to transportation. So now I'm thinking of trying to round up a crew for a night of psychedelic fun at the beach (there's like no snow here, it feels like Fall). We'll see though, barhopping and alcohol may win the night depending on how boring my friends turn out to be.

Whatever your plans are, please remember to stay safe!

Happy New Years, Nexus, and here's to another year of exploration, growth, and weirdness. Cool

If you can just get your mind together, then come across to me. We'll hold hands and then we'll watch the sunrise from the bottom of the sea...
But first, are you experienced?

I'm probably going to have a quiet night - New Years has never been my favorite holiday. I'll Skype my partner for a bit and maybe meditate on the coming year. I'd rather get up to shenanigans on some night that's less likely to be full of drunk revelers and intoxicated drivers.

Blessings

Bummer you couldn't make it to that rave! I couldn't either but it would have been awesome to see you there praxis. Maybe in the future.

I'm going to go see some family/family friends who tend to have a talking heads dance party by the time the night is done, and from there I'll probably go see a local psychedelic band. I'm not one for the bar scene but if there is a good band playing I'll go.

Nothing =) Maybe a few beers after I fix dinner, like every night. I have the house to myself for the holidays. Couldn't ask for much more than that.

Happy new year

I have a New Year's resolution. 1366 x 760, but I'm hoping 2016 will be the year I move up to 1080p!

Dancing on 2015's grave! All hail 2016!

This will be a good year, yes, a good one indeed.

What about new year traditions anybody?

Binge watched some Fresh Prince, made delicious open faced tacos, listened to neighbors shoot off fireworks, and sipped a bit of blackberry wine with my lady to greet the new year. That was my first drink in nearly 3 weeks! Smile

I think 2016 is going to be a great year!

I Had a chilled one with a couple amazing friends. We drank some champs listened to grateful dead on vinyl and since you can see the London eye from their window, we watched 10 minutes of amazing fireworks when midnight struck. It definitely beat a messy night out by a long shot.

Same, mate. Couldn't be bothered falling in love with a wall, so... A dinner with the family, then chilled at Orions with a buddy, smoked some bud and drank a few buds. Baked retro gaming and deep spiritual conversation with techno music in the background is fun for ages 18 and up.

My friend went on a deep spiritual quest after a certain title and it was too much for him mentally, and he was totally shocked by his own brain capacity. Hilarious, a brain unable to handle the fact that brains can handle lots of things.

Beats being half dead on a train to somewhere that isn't your own cosy bed. I must be getting old...

That sound great, dude! I love a good baked retro game sesh Pleased

It's definitely a getting older and wiser scenario I feel. NYE can be so overrated. As long as you have good friends around, it doesn't really matter what you do.

I've stayed in for the past few years, usually playing computer games or something else to pass the time. It is just another day, after all.

This year I spent it with the latest girlfriend, she popped her DMT cherry. It was quite an interesting experience as I've never shared my psychedelic journeys with a girl before. Going to hyperspace whilst cuddled on the sofa makes for an even greater, warm, cuddled experience.

Basking in the afterglow together; it's better than the highly over-rated post-sex cuddle, definitely.

I think as 00:00 hit GMT, I was possibly in the 643rd dimension.

At new years eve I inhaled big amount of funny tobacco and played rocket league with a good friend. We do this every year now. And jess, this year will be great! Just passed 30 days without consuming alcohol.

wish you all the best <3
