Advice for Caapi Leaf/Blue Lotus Changa Options

Hello everyone. I've just finished my 5th freebase DMT extraction from ACRB, and with it I plan to try working with changa for the first time. Unlike my previous extractions, I ended with mostly a white, fluffy crystallized product accompanied by a small fraction of wax, as opposed to the big globs of wax I'm used to scraping from my dishes. As stated, I have experience with freebase DMT and ayahuasca, and I have done my research, but being my first experience with changa I'd like some direct advice and criticism to be sure I've got it down. Below I will include a few questions I have, and the plan for this project. I'm aiming to keep the product simple, but I also don't want to have to use my entire yieldin one session to achieve a breakthrough. I want it to be strong and efficient. Any criticism to help me achieve that goal is greatly appreciated!

So I have purchased from a trusted vendor black caapi leafs and 15x blue lotus extract. I plan to use the warm water bath method to lace the caapi leaf with the extract and my spice. I know without using acetone/alcohol/whatever the mixture will be uneven, but I really like being able to avoid harsh chemicals when possible, and the timeliness this that method provides is very convenient.

Now, I know it's mostly preference, but what ratio of leaf-extract-spice would be best to use? I read the "standard" is 1-1-1, but I also believe when working with blue lotus 10x extract is "standard"? Should I stick with that ratio, or will my stronger extract make much of a difference?

I have an abundance of Syrian rue stored away as well. While I can't stand the taste and its nauseating effects, rue has been very effective in my ayahuasca sessions. If trying to achieve a breakthrough, is it worth ingesting some prior to smoking, or does it not make much of a difference with changa?

Also (this is probably a dumb question, but better safe than sorry), I read about boiling caapi leafs when making changa.. That's just to make caapi extract, right? Is there any kind of preparation of the leafs I must do before smoking?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello,

So if you have spice, caapi leaves, blue lotus and a bunch of syrian rue seeds which you are reluctant to drink as tea, why not now do an harmalas extraction on syrian rue seeds. YOu would have some tasteless freebase harmalas, very handy to dose in vaping / smoking mix ( like changa ) or for oral use and quite precise doses ( up to the purity of your extract ).
You could use some caapi leaves as well as blue lotus as support for you dissolve spice and harmalas and make some nice changa.

This way, and with proper vaporisation technique, I know I could see the difference between n,n crystals or enhanced leaves and changa. the dosage is more accurate ( put at least 300 mg harmalas FB for 1000 mg herbs, 1000 mg spice ).
It works better than smoking plain caapi leaves enhanced with n,n.

There are a number of teks here about harmalas extractions, take your time to go through a good number a them to get a general idea of the process as well as knowing which one you could be comfortable with doing or feel like would suit your projects.

Enjoy the tryp, and take care.
Smell like tea n,n spirit !

Toke the toke, and walk the walk !

Thanks for the reply, I'll look more into making an extract from rue. But isn't the blue lotus extract achieving more or less the same as what you're talking about, providing a source of harmalas for my blend? Or is rue a more preferable extract?
