Psychoactive Plants Among Mesoamerican Indigenous Peoples Options

I'm looking for well-researched books focused on the traditional use of psychoactive plants and fungi among the Aztec, Mayans, Mazatec, and other groups in Mesoamerica. My gut tells me someone here on the Nexus has a recommendation or two.

I've read the fantastic "One River" by Wade Davis, but that is focused primarily on the Amazon.

Ideally, the book I'm looking for delves into the ceremonial aspects as well as the more every-day applications.

Muchas gracias. Big grin
