12 hours isn't necessary, I did 2-3 hour pulls then 5 hours on the last 5th pull. I used enough naphtha to cover about an inch above the seeds, which is still a lot but I have the excess naphtha to use.
You check whether the defat is finished by evaporating the naphtha pulls. The first 3-4 will have some yellow shit in it. the fifth may have slight residue, the sixth maybe nothing. The naphta doesn't really change color or only maybe on the first pull slightly.
You don't have to use acetone if you don't want. It is far easier to just weigh the grinded seeds and consume. If you are wanting extra purity and want large doses then do an acetone extract as you would be eating something like the size of a grain of rice but you will have to work that out with the dosage calculator that is on the WIKI tek.
You don't have to filter anything. You pull the naphtha with a glass turkey baster or syringe but plastic and naphtha is kinda of bad but choose at your own risk. You could filter the mush and let the naphtha fall out of it but the mush will be hard to get back in to the bottle for the next dephat so just use a baster.
Once you have pulled with acetone IF YOU ARE AT ALL, then throw away the seed mush as all the lsa will be extracted.
YOU CHECK HOW MUCH LSA IS EXTRACTED BY EVAPORATING THE ACETONE IN SEPERATE CONTAINERS FOR EACH PULL. Once there is no more lsa left you can discard your seeds.
