(5-MeO-DMT) Recommendations for First Time In Toad Trance Options

This weekend I plan to try 5-MeO-DMT for the first time. Wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom surrounding this molecule?

I'm actively reading Tryptamine Palace, and expect to have at least read all of the parts that are less autobiographical, and could be insightful to know in advance read before firing off. with that said, if I could go back in time and have tried DMT without any influence, that would have been preferred. Should I stop reading now, and go in as a tabula rasa instead?

AMOUNT: I currently have 280mgs (lab-grade,) so assuming my technique is perfected early on, plenty of room for experimentation

DEVICE: I have a GVG, and a new liquid pad I could devote explicitly to 5Meo, but am wondering if it might be best to go get an oil burner to avoid the potential for surprises when using the GVG down the road. I could still use the GVG liquid pad in the oil burner. Maybe it will all vaporize without issue, and as the GVG is more efficient mode of vaporization (convection vs. conduction,) than an oil burner to simply stiik with what I know works? Another consideration is that I'd hate to be knocked so far off conscious by my first inhalation that I break the GVG, whereas breaking an oil burner is no sweat off my back.

Some obvious questions would it be best to titrate up from 5mgs, or to start right at 10? Is there potential for me to be screaming (i.e. if roommates are home, is it necessary to explain to them exactly what I'm doing? If I'm using a sketchy looking oil burner, for example, I'd rather not have to get everyone involved if its not necessary,) and anything else I might not be considering?
