Hello All! I was wondering what would be the best way to infuse mint with DMT. I smoked DMT infused mint the first time I smoked it back in the mid 70's. It tastes better. I was wondering if I could disolve about 100 mg of DMT in a small amount of heptane and soak 1/4 gram of mint in it then let it evaporate. Thank you for any advice. Peace, Rocket

IPA or acetone. I always just use 70%-99% IPA. Search the site for 'enhanced leaf'. Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*

The recommended and most commonly used chemicals for infusing DMT onto plant material are: Everclear (95% or higher drinkable grain ethanol) 99% IPA, or Acetone. This information is found within the changa and enhanced leaf threads. I am no expert on chemicals but I would NOT recommend using heptane to make changa or enhanced leaf. Just my .02 Ha! I rolled up fresh mint leaves, cut the bottoms off, and stuck them in a tube with DMTdissolved in IPA. It worked alright, but I switched over to sandwiching dmt in mint, and then to sandwiching in ash.

I see your avatar 1ce, i get that tubes turn you on, but why use one to infuse leaf? I just use a shallow dish, that allows the saturated ipa o soak whatever herb is being used and also evaporate evenly. It seems a tube would be inefficient. Whatevs tho. That's all good, but i really want to know why fresh over dried leaf material? Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*

In addition to the advice above, generally you want to go with closer to a 1:1 ratio leaf to DMT, if you want breakthrough enhanced leaf. So if you're using 100mg of DMT, put it on 100mg of leaf. Forge a Path with Heart <3

Thank you all so much for the information. I'm going for the 1:1. I have a tin of acetone. So 250 mg of spice dissolved in acetone with 250 mg of mint. I'll post here in a couple of days how it went.

That's all good, but i really want to know why fresh over dried leaf material? Because a small amount of liquid is allowed to cover a large amount of leaf when it's inside of a narrow tube. There is also less dish for the DMT to be dissolved onto. Plus I wanted a slower evaporation anyway, I was in no hurry. "Whatevs tho"

God I'd love a mint leaf to smoke with dmt.
I have a question. That must have been answered before, I just dont'know how to search for it:
When using Enhanced leaf. In a GvG. Does this equality of DMT not mean that some DMT will off of the plant material faster than others. Resulting in a loss of yield.
Compare this to the sandwich method where DMT sits on top of a herb bed. All DMT that melts has to pass through the bed first before it goes into the pipe.

I'd weigh slightly over and warm the DMT to a liquid first. I never got reliable dosing with enhanced leaf, a bed of mint leaves in a long glass 'gandalf' pipe worked alright.

Thanks. I'll try that

you can just disolve the spice in 99% IPA and soak the Mint on that.

Another option is to use mullein instead, then add peppermint oil (1 drop per gram of DMT). I do this and it works great. It also allows you to control the amount of flavor in your leaf, plus mullein has a high DMT carrying capacity due to its fluffiness.

Try to get flowers of mint. They're super fluffy and perfect for changa Yeah remember to add harmalas ––––––

Not sure why but my problems with infused mint and mullein have been that when I vaporize it, there will always be some left that won't leave the herb maybe 10-20% still stuck in there. I keep a baggy for leftovers now and either re-acetone or just give it to a someone who smokes. Perhaps it is the oils keeping it stuck in there and I can do a pre-acetone to remove the oils then acetone the dmt in after.

I had that problem, it made dosage quite hard and most vapes were missfires. What actually gave me my first breakthrough experience was using an ash cushion, dmt on top, and finally some fresh mint leaf pieces. Plenty of mint pieces. I'd warm the dmt with a bic lighter, and then very lightly tickle the leaves with the flame while inhaling slowly until vapor started to appear. Then I'd exhale through my nose and take my hits. It's no GVG, but it did work much better than infusing the mint.

Been off the forum for awhil. Mint is too harsh with the spice for me. Maybe I'll try dried parsley next.

It was a bit harsh and funky tasting. I agree with arcologist and highly recommend mullein as it isn't harsh and absorbs goodies quite well. New to The Nexus?
