I feel like this method has been overly neglected, considering the convenience that comes with it:

If you are like I am and live in a place where dry ice is difficult to find and hard to work with, consider using this method and reporting back with some results.

A single claim of success is not a proof of success. The starter of that thread never answered any questions about his results. He did not provide any analytical or otherwise credible evidence of his methods. Nobody replicated the results successfully (you wrote in that thread that you would test this, did you ever try?)

As it stands, the method is not proven at all.

If dry ice is a problem, then there is another method you could try: Another way of partitioning 1° and 2° amines from 3° amines

Hello pitubo,

I'm aware that it needs further testing. The point of this thread was mainly to encourage other people to try it. Recently I've been in a place where I can't do extractions at all, so unfortunately I didn't try it myself.

I really wanna try it in the future though Thumbs up
