Looking for an old tek, posted 4-5 years ago Options

Hello friends,

It has been a long time since I have graced the dmt-nexus shores and I know this is a long shot but I am hoping someone may be able to help me out.

About 4 years ago I first tried extracting dmt using MHRB, I used a Tek I found on this forum, it was very simple and proved to be very successful. I have spent the last 4 years with energy directed elsewhere after a strong msg but have found myself in a time and place to reconnect and experiment again. I still have some left from my first extraction but would really love to make some more, and like I say the time and place couldnt be better Big grin I'd like to find the Tek that I used (or something similar) but have no idea where to really start as its been years since I'v been a part of this forum.

Like I said, it was a very simple tek, soaking in naptha, letting it settle and separate, pulling with a turkey bastor & freezing.

Any info would be much appreciated.
Thankyou

** I apologise in advance if this has been posted in the wrong place or I have gone against forum etiquette in any way.

Hi sleepirasta,

Do you remember if it was an A/B tek, STB, or hybrid?

If it was really simple, then I can imagine it was an STB tek, but we need more info to help find it for you. I'm guessing if it was 4 years ago, it could be Noman's "DMT for the Masses" tek... Does that ring any bells?

Edit: I suggest using Cyb's Tek for it's simplicity and new and improved methods.

Hey @doingkermit

Have you ever posted an extraction you did with pictures? For some reason as soon as I saw your d/p my memory told me it was a post by you that I was following. I could be tripping, I probably just remember you from years ago..

Anyway thought I'd check.

Peace

Oh man, i know this thread of which you speak, it was my first intro to this whole thing as well.

It has a very crucial step involving smoking a fat joint and petting kitties if i recall...

I haven't searched for you, obviously, a DK/DMT TEK/NEXUS search should do it.

Ha ha, smoking kitties and petting weeds. Crucial indeed

Edit, i performed said search, and hate to say... You're on your own, lol. Nothing came up...

I think your defiantly onto it Null! I should be right using nomans tek, but the guided walkthrough was super handy last time.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll let you know tomorrow how my first extraction in 5 years goes. Although I am using mhrb powder thats equally as old, I dont have high hopes for an amazing yeild...

Acacian, do you know much about acacia around my neck of the woods?

I actually did write up a tek about 5 years ago during my short stay on Shroomery. I only gave it to a few people though. It was basically Noman's tek (with an option for a carbonate wash at the end) written for people who live in the UK. I studied a LOT of teks for well over a year before extracting and writing up what I thought to be an easy recipe for newbies.

If the bark was kept dry, dark and reasonably airtight it should still be fine, assuming it was good in the first place. It would be interesting to compare yields if the data is still to hand.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

not a lot of info on active acacia (other than acuminata further west and burkitti further east/south) around your area but petalostylis cassoides is abundant to alice and has been used with success in the past.. don't see why you wouldn't get what your looking for out of it.. common name is butterfly bush i'm sure you see it around
