Spraying changa instead of soak/evap Options

I was telling my friend what changa is the other day, so he tells me that I'd get better results if I were to put the DMT solution in a spray bottle and spray the solution over the herb? (apparently he's done something similar when lacing weed with synthetic cannabanoids. I know, yuck)

Surely someone has heard of this approach to the process? Has anybody ever tried it for making changa? If not, do you think it would work? better or worse? why?

The obvious problem could be having solvent in a plastic spray bottle, but hopefully you could find an HDPE spray bottle somewhere.

Seems counterproductive.
Think about it, you want the herbs saturated thoroughly so they absorb the DMT & harmalas.
With a spray bottle, rather than sitting in the juice the herbs get a coating & spray gets all over the place.

I think a better method may be something similar to laying blotter if you want to go that route.
Figure out how much of your solvent your herbs will absorb dropwise before saturation to the point of dripping, then figure out how much DMT & harmalas you can get into the amount of solvent required for saturation of the herbs.
You may need a solvent that is very good at dissolving both harmalas & dmt for this method, isopropyl & acetone do not dissolve harmalas well, hydrocarbon solvents are out as well for the same reason.
Methanol should work well if you could get enough DMT & harmalas to dissolve in a small enough amount, but is toxic so the fumes absolutely CAN NOT be breathed in or evaporated in a closed room without laboratory style ventilation & you must make absolutely sure all traces have evaporated t houroughly before smoking.

Why make something that is fundamentally simple and foolproof into something that is wasteful and/or risks inconsistency in terms of weight of changa to amount of DMT ratio? Isn't the idea of changa that each 50 mg pinch of 1:1 changa always has 25 mgs DMT?
