I just came across his work today. He is best known for his book on the afterlife, Heaven and Hell.

First of all i would like to ask if any member here ever read any of his work and what is their opinion about it.
Second he is coming from certain Christianity point but still different than Christianity that was preached and practiced at his time of life and also today.

What i find of interest is that he is explaining some of the things that i came up noticing in my own life and with help of entheogenic experiences. I wouldn't necessarily use same labels/words that he used but none the less the question of ¨good and evil˝ and how this first manifests as thoughts and feelings and later on as action...are they really ˝ours˝ in the first place and what it means to choose one or the other and ramifications her in human life and in spirit life.
Most of us think that whatever happen in our heads/hearts it is us but what if we are being influenced from spirit world as he is describing. And if thoughts and emotions aren't ours whose are they? If they aren't ours then what is? hope i am making sense i am writhing this down on a fly without any lengthier thought process.Stop
How this and if translates to our entheogenic experiences and benevolent/malevolent entities that some of us experience/interact while in altered state?

Love consists in desiring to give what is our own to another and feeling his delight as our own.
We do need to realize, though, that it is the quality of our love that determines the quality of this life.

I like the fact that you are taking a semi-religious text and applying it with rationality to your existential problems, this I think is something that most modern people have not courage nor capacity to do mainly due to there prejudice against religion which holds them back from intergrating it into a bigger picture.

The questions you raised are the same as my own and I only hope that DMT exploration will be a guide to more understanding on those concepts especially about interacting with high level processes or intelligences in the universe or whatever it is that we exist in...
