I feel lost, like I missed my turn a few miles back and I don't recognize where I am anymore. I might be right where I am supposed to be... I just don't know anymore. While I get my bearings I'm going to move a few rocks into a circle, make a fire and sit for a while. Maybe the smoke from this fire will show me the way... while we're here I'll tell you about my dream.

This was a lucid dream I had last night, like all of my dreams and experiences I do not control them, I let them happen and show me what they will.

(Third person) This starts as seeing myself in my backyard in the area where the old garden used to be, back at the house I grew up in, the grass is much greener there, literally. It is a beautiful day and the skies are clear, it's not hot or cold. The gentle breeze is moving the large pine tree ever so slightly, I can see the branches moving.

(First person) I am watching this odd shaped, bright white, experimental aircraft fly around in the not too far distance. In bold black letters on it there is a name but I cannot bring that back here with me clearly. There were two other smaller white experimental planes following the much larger lead aircraft in a pyramid formation. The lead craft suddenly pulls up and seems to stall instead of climb.

(1st) I notice all 3 planes start coasting and circling lower and lower and seem to be slowing down. Somehow the three planes join together, in a line and they fall out of the sky with no forward momentum at all, all 3 at the same moment... falling straight down.

(1st) They crash a few feet away from me and I am so close I can clearly see the faces of one of these pilots... panicked... and all three rushing about to remove headsets and take off seat belts to get out of the planes. One plane catches fire and black smoke begins to billow from it.

(3rd P) I am closer to the house now on the patio and they are running to me. Typical uniform, white shirt with bars on it, black trousers. They do not speak English, I do not recognize the language, and I am gesturing to them to use the pots and things around the patio to put water in so they can extinguish the flames. I pick up my phone to call 911 and I am explaining to them what has happened. I realize as I am telling them about it a fire truck arrives and there is nobody on the phone.

(The fire truck was red and white, it should have been all red...and who else was watching this that called them?)

Awaken.

Throw another log on the fire would ya...I might be here for a while.

I completely know where you are coming from cruetmixer, you just never know what life has in store for you until you live through it, even then... Throw a log on for me and I'll sit down for a bit too.

This dream I had last night, lately I've been having trouble remembering dreams, but parts of this one stood out.

(Dream)
I was swimming in a pool with Vladimir Putin, I could sence that he was a friendly sort of chap, but he was with his entourage and was acting cool. He saw that I was a good diver and challenged me to a dive in the deep end, the kind where you see who can touch bottom first. He won but ran out of air and had to surface, I touched bottom but easily made a point of staying down longer. I surfaced an squirted some water at him from my mouth, he bowed and then I swam for the shallow end.

Upon arriving a woman offered her hand told me to grab it, I gave her my index finger and told her to pull it... To my left I noticed the same woman walking along the edge of the pool (wasn't sure if it was the same woman or her twin, because she was still holding my finger) the one walking laughed an said something like "you're full of jokes!" I got the impression that the joke was on me...

Then I woke up grinning.

Great to have you around cruetmixerSmile

Thank you kindly for your response nemesauce.

Sometimes my dreams take a while to integrate, just like any other experience. Until I fully understand I have a few insights as to the meaning but normally I'll have a moment in time that happens and immediately the dream will come to mind and it makes perfect sense.

I do not claim a particular faith or religion or teaching as my path. I choose to learn from all of them. Lately, this past year, there has been a profound and overwhelming Hindu influence to my dreams. I seem to be compelled to research and study Hinduism and mantras as of late. This is a wonderful teaching, there is much to learn from it. What I find is most teachings are the same message presented in various ways with various complexities.

My dream may represent the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer. That each was white and represents the purity which they will impose upon us through these changes and the shedding of that which disrupts our progress. That only one can be leading us at a time...we cannot destroy creation or preserve destruction...that no matter the outcome of our wishes we must accept the outcome as progress even if we do not understand it. Strip us down to the truth, our true selves, and when we begin to integrate that truth we will begin to understand why these things have happened. We must accept that if we are growing we are in a constant state of change.

Nemesauce I cannot interpret your dreams because I am not you. You will know more about what exactly this dream experience means to you. If it were my dream I might make the following observations about it:

It has been my experience that water is a reflection of your emotional state, the fact that you were swimming in it and it was clear and deep is a good thing. You are mindful and connected well with your emotional state. You are comfortable with your emotions and your feelings toward others. It is your approach that gives you an advantage when you are challenged or face challenges. (Calm under pressure.) You are confident in your knowledge and your abilities but not cocky about it, hence the playful squirting of water at him. (This big shot with the entourage in your dream is a part of yourself.)

The duality/ bi-location of the woman...This may represent that you can be absorbed in the moment yet can remain aware on what is going on around you. Or it could be as simple as you recognize similarities or common traits in others that you also see in yourself. (Keep focus and do not get distracted.) Or maybe she was attractive in that swimsuit? Smile

Dreams are a wonderful gift...and mine have been incredible. It sounds like yours are too. If you would like to remember your dreams what I find helpful is to have a tape recorder or notepad by the bed. As soon as you wake up start writing and talking or recording. Whatever you can remember keep going over it until you can write it down because if you stop for just a second you can lose the memory. I have also used speech to text before but it will butcher words if you do not enunciate which can be rather difficult if you are half asleep.

Namaste seems all to appropriate to say right now. Thank you again for coming to my aid.

Thanks for your interpretation cruet, I have been interested in dream reading for a while now but I have no experience with it, I see lots of books on the subject but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

I really like what you had to say about mine, I wish I could do the same for you but I feel it would be a very crude attempt.

I've been taking a bit of a break from smoking cannabis and have noticed a return to dreaming, to bad its one or the other - both have benefits.

Btw, she was very attractive, but she was wearing a business suit and not a swim suit, lol.

Do not get a dream dictionary...please do not do that. What one thing means to you may mean something completely different to someone else, there is no "one size fits all" definition for what something means.

There are lots of books on dreams, with many ways to interpret them. You need to decide what they are to you first. Are they just background noise and what our brains do when it gets bored? Are they what happens when our spirit leaves our body and travels to another dimension or plane of existence? Are they messages from a higher consciousness, etc? That is for you to answer.

I can't say that any one way is right or wrong but only you will know what feels right to you. Its like building a house, there are a thousand plans but you'll know the one that works for you when you see it. There are a thousands upon thousands of books on dreams because dreams have been around as long as humans have. (Maybe longer for all that we know.)
