Great find, a very interesting read.

I've never known quite how I feel about Integrated Information Theory. If it is what it claims to be, it's probably one of the greatest scientific models ever, full stop, but I've never found it to be very satisfying.

Some of the math seems a little bit weird to me (esp. the bit about concept space and probabilities - I'm unconvinced that each possible past or future state is orthogonal to every other past or future state, which is sort of a must for concept space to make any sense).

Thankfully, it's testable and if it holds up, I will happily eat my words Thumbs up

Blessings

I know what you mean. My aim really was to ask the question: what happens if we apply to IIT to the functional MRI data on the psychedelic state? And I think much of what I found seems to make sense of much of the phenomenology. Just playing really... Very happy
