Hello all, long time lurker, but first time poster here.

I've been using psychedelics (only LSD to this point) for about 6 months, I've taken up to what can be estimated around 250 micrograms at a time (not pleasant though) and I've always been fascinated by the spirit molecule. I don't think i'm ready for a hyperspace experience, but Im very interested in DMT because of the shorter duration, the visual component even at low doses and the fact that it is a tryptamine. I have heard that tryptamines are more calm and less stimulating than phenethylamines and LSD. I don't want to vaporise it because i know ill mess that up, plus i think infusing herbs with it might mask the taste slightly.

Now on to the question,
i have 250 mg of DMT Mod Edit: Please Read This!, and I thought what i could do is dissolve it in acetone and add around five cones of cannabis to the mix, then allow the Acetone to evaporate. I know there are many threads about this and in theory it should work fine but my question is, is there any kind of health risk? I tested the acetone by pouring a shot glass completely full and letting it evaporate, there doesnt seem to be an oily film or other contaminants, but is that enough to be sure? i dont want to smoke some chemical contaminant or waste my DMT, and i know that if im not sure, there is no way it can be a pleasant experience.

Thanks for any and all answers, if this post somehow breaks the rules feel free to delete it.

Sorry for the rule break, i just included that info to show that this DMT is REMOVED and not extracted by myself, so it is of unknown quality.
Mod Edit: No Discussion means ...NO DISCUSSION!

Edit: Sorry, i didn't realize you were not even allowed to say that you got it from somewhere even with no specifics whatsoever. not honestly the warmest welcome, no post explaining the exact rule and no answer to my question, not even a hello...

Hello! Welcome to the newbies section Razz

I personally see no reason for it to be dangerous. The acetone left no residue so I believe it's safe, although I prefer to use alcohol.
I advise against using marijuana for enhanced leaf, in my personal opinion the marijuana effect "clouds" the dmt effect a little.

Hello LSDkiller Thumbs up

The rules are in place for a good reason, and it is explicitly there above the text box when composing a thread. If you want to guarantee you have a good quality product, extract your own. It is well worth the endeavour.

Personally I wouldn't infuse your Spice onto Cannabis. Something smoother and more inert such as Mullein or Mint would be a better choice. Acetone is a good solvent, you can google the MSDS to check your particular brand, but no residue on evaporation is a good sign. I recommend weighing EXACTLY how much DMT you have, then weighing up exactly the same amount of leaf, so it is easy to work out your dosage. If you check the Wiki out, all the answers (and more) are there.

Good luck and happy travels Drool

DMT + cannabis is (imo) a combination that should be avoided unless you're very experienced with both DMT and cannabis. In much the same way that smoking weed can pitch a psychedelic experience on mushrooms or DMT into an uncomfortably psychotic place, it can also do strange things to the experience of hyperspace.

I would pick something nice and soothing to infuse the spice into (blue lotus is a good one, I've had good results with peppermint) that won't color the experience too much.

As far as other practical dangers go: DMT is pretty safe. There's one report on Erowid of it triggering a heart-attack, but unless you have a pre-existing condition, you should be fine.

Blessings
