When doing a mini A/B what should the ratio of the acidic water to bark to naphtha be?

In EW's tek he uses 500 mL: 100 g: 250 mL

So a ratio of 5 mL acidic water to 1 g bark to 2.5 mL naphtha

He ended up with 250 mL naphtha from 5 x 50 mL pulls. Would it be ok to reduce the volume of the naphtha to maybe 100 mL or so?

Also, instead of doing 1 500 mL acidic water extraction would it work to do 5 x 100 mL extractions?

So in the end the ratio would be 1 mL : 1 g : 1 mL or something similar performed 5 times to extract out all the DMT freebase and convert it to the salt. Very nice

I think you might be confused about what "mini A/B" means. It's not really a full extraction method, it's more of a cleaning method.

As stated in the FAQ under "Brown, dark solvent" a mini A/B goes as follows:



As for doing a 1g bark extraction, you'd be looking at 10mg of DMT at 1% yield. That's a very small amount of DMT. I'd suggest starting with at least 25g of bark.

I'm not talking about doing a 1 g extraction lol. I just reduced the numbers down to the smallest whole number.
