DMT Freebase + Ketamine Options

Hey Everyone Big grin

Just wondering how anybody else has found smoking freebase whilst on ketamine.....

I took part in serious exploration of hyperspace last night under the influence of ketamine Very happy It was amazing and definitely had some sort of influence on how the trips unfolded. The first couple were very slow and gentle but the last few were a roller coaster through hyperspace at break neck speeds, both very insightful and mind boggling.

If anybody else has had any experience of mixing the two, please give your thoughts Smile

I spent a good year or so of my life in and out of habitual ketamine use and have had a mixed bag of experiences with K and DMT in combination. I think K is awesome for exploring Deemspace because of the degree of dissociation it can afford and the added complexity/strangeness of the experience. I think K is nice in taking off some of the jitters of DMT entry for me because one already feels somewhat close to that other world that DMT transports you to.
I think my view of K is perhaps clouded or tainted now by my past experiences and abuse of the compound. I got a couple very scary hyperslaps for entering too K'd and numbed. Ketamine is a serious field of it's own psychoexploration, but one to be very careful with.

I believe that Ketamine is very cool compound for exploration of hyperspace when used in a healthy way though. Things certainly can go quite deep.

The thought of combining dissociative anesthetics and psychedelics seems counter-intuitive to me.

Psychedelics open you up, breaking down the walls between you and the rest of the Universe. DAs do the opposite, they close you off and remove you from reality. K can be very compelling, but I don't feel like there's anything 'real' there.
Same is true from PCP and DXM, imo.

Yes this is much how I feel now ND. Ketamine is a bit of a 'trick' in its way. Very compelling. I resonate with Terence McKenna's commentary on Ketamine in this interview:
https://www.erowid.org/c...nterview_hightimes.shtml

TM: [...] For instance, I'll speak of my own experience, which is ketamine. My impression of ketamine was -- it's like a brand new skyscraper, all the walls, all the floors are carpeted in white, all the drinking fountains work, the elevators run smoothly, the fluorescent lights recede endlessly in all directions down the hallways. It's just that there's nobody there. There's no office machinery, there's no hurrying secretaries, there's no telephones -- it's just this immense empty structure waiting. Well I can't move into a 60-story office building. I have only enought stuff to fill a few small rooms, so it gives me a slightly spooked-out feeling to enter into these empty morphogenetic fields. If you take mushrooms, you know, you're climbing on board a starship manned by every shaman who ever did it in front of you, and this is quite a crew, and they've really pulled some stunts over the millenia, and it's all there, the tapes, to be played, but the designer things should be very cautiously dealt with.

Anyway, I don't mean to spoil on your experience OP. Sounds like you had a positive time. I just have my waryness about ketamine I suppose.

I've never thought about combining any synthetic chemicals with DMT, I'm a plant only kinda guy, but I've had interesting synergy with salvia and DMT, but the two things are quite different aren't they?

My only experience with k was a black out from too much.

Apparantly it appears in rats that substances like DMT makes Ketamine non-toxic to neurons.

See my thread on it here.
