Swim has tried and ended up with an oily DMT smelling substance. I am convinced that most acacia have traces of DMT in it. SWIM smoked the oily substance once and tripped balls for a few mins. Definately psychoactive, but the quantities are very low in some species, even some plants in the same species depending on the growing conditions (and from what i gather from other plants) the time of day the bark is collected?

As swim told you, none of these trails were conducted in decent measured amounts, but the amounts of bark required to get around 0.3g was around 3 - 5kg.
There are definitely better sources in northern QLD rather than solandri.
EDIT:
If you had the time you could just experiment with whatever acacia you can find, SWIM bought 3 soxhlet extractors, for experimenting with barks. Its much better than boiling bark in vinegar.(it smells)
The hardest thing of all is to find a black cat in a dark room, especially if there is no cat.
