my spice weighs less now? Options

I started a 50g MHRB extraction less than one week ago and weighed each pull after they were finished drying. first pull weighed in to 0.3g, second weighing 0.2, and third at 0.1g. but when I took it all out of the vial, it weighed in to about 0.26g.
what happened to my product? it looks like 0.6g to me. could there have been a loss in mass due to leftover solvent evaporating? I'm curious and haven't seen any other posts on this other than body weight loss. how am I supposed to measure the doses?

It could have been leftover solvent evaporating. What is the precision of your scale? 0.1 grams?
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today,
I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Spice can be deceptively fluffy & liquids can be very heavy.

As one step said, balance your scale & check again. Use something of a known weight like a nickel. Should weigh 5g every single time.
If your scale is not fluctuating then your spice was just not fully dry.

my scale can do x0.01g and it seems calibrated properly.

how long should one wait before weighing? cyb's tek shows a yield of 0.88g right after 3 pulls. is this not accurate?

The material is always weighed once fully dried out. I've always let it sit for a day or two once scraped before weighing.

Your scale should be prefectly fine for weighing 100mg+ piles, but i would reccommend you grab a scale accurate to 0.001g.
With spice, 5-10mg difference can be huge & if your scale misses that you could be in for a rough ride.

When I freeze precipitate spice I tip the dish on its side and blow a fan on it for a couple of hours, then I let the dish sit out for a day until it's bone dry. Then I scrape it up. There is no solvent smell at all after that.

I bought a milligram scale from Amazon for about $30. It works great.

hmmm I see. so does that mean teks such as cyb's where it appears as if he scraped it right after 20 minutes of drying have inaccurate measurements? because if I'm only getting about 0.3g for 50g of MHRB, and he's getting 0.88g, I'm either doing something wrong, or he's weighing it too fast.
thanks for the responses

I suppose it's possible. I know that in my own experience, drying for 20 minutes would not eliminate all the solvent smell (and therefore probably some solvent weight as well). There are a lot of variables though when it comes to drying times; temperature, humidity, air circulation, brand of solvent - to name a few.
