Well last night I mixed 250mg resin with 15mg calcium carbonate and crushed up real good in a shot glass.
I started snuffing little bumps to get acquainted.... and the smell/taste just reminds me of summer. It's blissful.
It's no where near as harsh as HBWR.
After about an hour I had snuffed the entire quarter gram and was ready to sleep. I was very relaxed.
@ this dose I was reminded of the spice body high, with no visuals. Very cool.
The night was filled with vivid and insane dreams. woke up feeling great.

Swim has a gram of v.theiodoro resin and am extremely curious to it's effects.

So 1g of resin mixed w/ 60 mg calcium hydroxide seems to be a good ratio.

I also read that once you mix the VT and CH,that you should just wet it a little bit and let it dry. Swim is probably going to do give this a go this weekend or the next.

The insufulation did not burn at all? The last time swim insuffulated anything, it was about 30mg of thh and i thought he was going to cry from pain.

I'm curious as to the results of your friends experiment...because if 250mg is mild w/ no visuals, i wonder what a gram sublingual would be like.

Any other suggestions on where to get the calcium carbonate for those not living near a beach or cemetary?

If you live in an area populated with a lot of mexicans, you can go to their shops and find lime in the spice section.

swim tried 250mg sublingually last night with minimal effects. A slight body buzz was felt and his vision seemed a little different, hes not sure if this was just placebo or what. He plans to try again with the rest (750mg), and maybe throw some THH into the mix. will report back on effects.

So last night SWIM mixed 250mg VT resin with 15mg calcium hydroxide, with distilled water, let it dry. Chopped it up and sniffed it.
Other than burning his nose, the only effects was a little light headed.
The good thing was it smelt nice. Like something from SWIM's past that he can't put his finger on.

After an hour of nothing he then smoked a J of mids and went to bed. It was not worth the pain for swim, he thinks that humans are not designed to sniff solids up their noses, lol. He has a head ache this morning, thinks it is from stuff caught up in his nose still. Maybe SWIM will try 750mg sublingually at another time.

Swim tried again with 20mg THH, 750mg resin sublingually. Still not much of anything very noticeable. I guess swim is a hard head when it comes to 5-meo. He'll probably eventually extract some to explore a little more. Any recommendations for a tek or plant source?

Would there be a difference between using calcium carbonate and calcium hydroxide? Or are they both the same thing for this purpose?

Calcium hydroxide works far better than calcium carbonate.

It seems strange that people are getting such different results. Swim still has not tested the resin yet, but it seems as if the most efficient method of injestion is insufulation. The only reference i've seen to anyone having any success with this particular resin is 250mg through the nasal passage, and that seems like a painful task.

The last time swim insuffulated only 25mg of thh (hcl) and the pain was almost unbearable for alsmost an hour, although he has snuffed other substances in the past with no pain.

So the only successful report i've read so far,unless i missed one on the other virola thread is trypatmine body load,peaceful,dreamy state.

Why would a vendor sell a resin that is barely even active at such high levels, or is there something that we're missing???

Won't know untill swim goes first hand.

That's what has me intrigued...is the dreams. Swim has found spice to be a major ally when it comes to lucid dreams and i have had a few amazingly beautiful and exciting lucid dreams the night after a spice journey....i just wish i could do it at will.

Swim will most likely try your friends method and do a little at a time just to keep the burn down.

No expectations.

Swim just recently mixed his Virola T. resin w/ Calcium H. (6% CH), and wet it just a little as per 69ron's suggestion and let it dry.

Having read some other posts, swim decided to insuffulate 100 mg and wait 10 minutes. He felt a mild euphoria, similar to harmala without the "headiness". After 10 minutes he decided it was safe to do some more, and insuffulated another 150mg.

There was absolutely no pain in the insuffulation and it does have a nice flowery auroma to it.He is very relaxed, although he feels for any real psychoactivity that would render any visuals or even a more profound experience he could have easily injested the whole gram that he had purchased.....if his nose would allow for it.

All in all it is very calming...swim would describe it like a cross between thh and harmala.

Although, he did his best going into the experience without any expectation, he was hoping to experience some of the more known effects of 5-meo. Still, it is a very nice experience.

Swim should have his hands on some soon Definately will let the world know how it made swim feel
Dwhitty, did you get lucid dreams from the 250mg?

No lucidity,but i didn't fall asleep afterwords.

Spice gives me the best lucid dreams.

Swim is considering taking some peganum harmala extract w/ the same dosage of virola resin (250mg) to see how well it potentiates it.

I've heard some distubing stories of maoi's mixed w/ 5-meo, but that was with 5-meo freebase, and the resin doesn't seem to be very potent.

Any thought's ?
