I'd either re-a/b (and pull with limonene and salt with FASA), or I'd wash with cold dry IPA or acetone, or I'd use hot IPA to dissolve or partly dissolve the mescaline and then let it cool down to recrystallize.
Ethanol might work if you have absolute ethanol. My guess is if its normal methanol with a certain percentage of water, the mescaline will be too soluble in it and you'd lose some yield washing with it. Maybe cooling down will reduce solubility and loss will be negligible, dont know.
Also this depends on the salt form the mescaline is in.
I wouldnt mix limonene as a washing solvent because it doesnt evap clean, it'd leave your mescaline with too much limonene residue. Unless you do FASI/FASA and then wash your fumarates with the IPA/acetone, that works great. More info can be found around the nexus
