Introducing a friend Options

I'm thinking of introducing a friend to DMT and looking for some advice please. I've always wanted my friend to try mushrooms but he says he'd prefer DMT as it doesn't last as long, ideally i'd like to give him a taste of what a longer psilocybin experience is like but i obviously want it to be as positive as possible for him.

I'm thinking 15mg should give a decent impression of what a tryptamine wave is like. In the past i've found sub-breakthrough doses of DMT to be so similar to psilocybin if not indistinguishable.

I'll experiment more myself first before allowing him to try it so i can fairly judge how to give a comfortable 'taster' dose, i'd still appreciate any advice you have in regards to this, many thanks.

When I introduced one of my friends to it, I looked him dead in the eye and said, "There's a chance you will feel a body wide orgasm for 100 years, there's a chance you'll get raped by 30 demons, and there's a chance that nothing will happen at all." He was alright with this and we went ahead.

Of course that friend was already somewhat of a psychonaut, so I think he was very ready. That specific night didn't turn out to be that great, but on some subsequent nights it got a lot better. The key is to let go and be willing to go anywhere. Let go of fear and of your ego. Stop thinking and let the magic take its course. It's kind of like a roller coaster ride, if you want to use an analogy. Once you're buckled in and the ride is going, there's no turning back. Might as well enjoy the experience, right?

It would be good if you tried the 15 mg as you say so you can get a handle on how powerful it will be. This is a great strategy, and then your friend can decide whether or not to pursue it.

Thanks for the reply, i think the fact it's over so quickly appeals to people that are interested but worried about being stuck in a bad trip for hours, even though a DMT trip can potentially feel like an eternity let alone a few hours!

Last night was my first journey for a few years and in the midst of it i was so astonished that this should all be over in a few minutes, it seemed impossible.

Hello!

Indeed, allowing him to experience the waves will give him a good idea.. I'd start a little smaller, like 5-10mg, but that's just me. As long as they feel comfortable where they are, and are prepared to directly face the awe-bending nature of the trip, I see no further problems other than reminding them to breathe, deeply and slowly.

I wish you both well.

Thumbs up
