where can I learn some of the chemistry behind extracting DMT? Options

I don't understand chemistry at all and most of these extraction guides are confusing to me, as detailed as they are. Is there any websites or books or something I can read to understand at least basic extraction knowledge?

An early thank you for anyone who helps me get one step closer to hyperspace Smile

I would also suggest purchasing an organic chemistry lab manuel or textbook and giving it a read through and attemt anything you can feasibly.

Find, one from the 60s or 50s and there may be LSD synthesis in it. Some 70s books ive seen have amphetamine and benzo synthesis and ive been told stories by professors of the older ones' contents Big grin
I died a mineral, and became a plant. I died a plant and rose an animal. I died an animal and I became human. Then why fear disappearance through death? Next time I shall die, Bring forth wings and feathers like angels; After that, soaring higher than angels-- What you cannot imagine, I shall be that.

Any speakings written are the purely fictional ramblings of an illiterate grande taco, and are false in the face of truth when judged by the all-father. They are in no way real.

I think a lot of teks aren't written in extreme step by step detail so people will have to do at least a little research to follow them. But don't be discouraged, this is the point. Go through with it when you feel confident in yourself.
As for getting there, check out the wiki here at the nexus. I learned tons from it.
Also, find a tek that seems good for you and just google every word or phrase you don't understand, then move forward once you do.
What I usually do is read a tek and write my own based off of it in my own words and add notes to it as I go along.
Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, I'm new here... Where was I supposed to ask the question? I'm pretty sure I'm locked out from most boards because I'm new.
Anyways thanks for the help.

*Edit*
I get it now, I should've just searched the forums for help as there are already threads about this question. Excuse my stupidity, I am lacking sleep and can't think straight.

LSD synth is a major danger O_o. I'd rather juggle syringes of n-butyl lithium than handle hydrazine or phossy pentachloride.

To OP: Chemistry the molecular nature of change was a good book. It dips into the super position of covalent bonds a little. I thought that was fascinating. The organic chemistry survival manual is worthwhile.
