Mescaline Extraction Questions Using 69Ron Method Options

There is a friend without a computer that asked me to post these questions to see if anyone knows of someone out there who has experimented with 69ron method of Mescaline Extraction using only food grade material.

My friend has heard about many posts on this subject and was going to attempt to extract some mescaline from P Torch as a research project. Here are some questions.

1. What is the best way to get the outer green off the plant to be able to dry it, some folks seem to like freezing it beforehand. Does the skin come off better this way and would assume you only use the outer green and keep as little white flesh out as possible?

2. Do most people reuse the d-limonene for each pull and when using torch about how many pulls does it take to get out the entire mescaline.

3. The next question is on mixing the d-limonene and vinegar together. Some people say it best to use a small electric personal blender and others say just to turn the jar over a few times and let it sit a day or so, any comments on this as this does seem important.

4. Is there any other natural/safe liquid that can be used in place of the vinegar and if so what and how much to use.

5. As far as some people cleaning up (more pure) the mescaline after drying and getting a more white color, there are some people that have used a pure alcohol, could someone go into more detail about this or any other safe/natural method?

6. If there is anything else that was left out that would benefit this extraction please comment on it.

I would hope that the feedback from this post would be able to help my friend and anyone else who is doing research on this subject. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME…………

1. Dunno, I've only ever used powdered cactus.

2. Yea, you can reuse as much as you want. The 'dry mix' will absorb some of the d-limo each pull, so eventually you may have to add in more d-limo for the later pulls.

3. I've never used a tool for this job. I just jar, then shake vigorously in various directions and angles for 1-2 minutes. Then I let it separate out (1-2 minutes). Then repeat, shaking and settling ~5 times. Each shake gets it so thickly mixed, I don't see how a blender could do it better, but using one may be faster.

4. Wut? vinegar is natural and probably the safest acid you could use. I use diluted hcl, though. 8 drops of muriatic acid (31.45% hcl) in 100ml of water creates a diluted hcl solution at the right ph(~4.5)

5. I use acetone to clean mine. I think 99% IPA works the same. I just take the scraped, impure wax and drop it in a shotglass of acetone and crush it up, mix it around. A minute later and the much more clean crystals settle out, and the colored acetone is poured off with majority of impurities. Then let the crystals re-dry before scraping back out. I wash it like this 2-3 times.

6. It's a really easy tek in my opinion. I guess a couple tips are when you mix the d-limo into your cactus, some will get absorbed. It really pays to squeeze back out every drop of the d-limo that you can. Those last drops will have the most alkaloids. The 'dry' cactus mix will be sort of dough-consistency. Can press the d-limo out somehow , I used to use a bucket and a plate. But now I take the dough-ball in an old jersey and wring every drop I can out of it.

Also, when you are mixing the vinegar with the d-limo, the solutions separate like oil and water. But it's very hard to separate every last drop perfectly, even with a dropper. But if you just do your best and collect your 4-5 vinegar pulls in one glass, you can freeze it. The vinegar solution with the alkaloids will be the bottom, frozen layer. And if you have any leftover d-limo, it will be pooled on top, unfrozen. Can just pour it off and wipe off the surface, boom, 99% separated. Make sure the bottom layer is frozen solid though. I poured off the top when the vinegar was still slushy once and half my extraction plopped down the drain.

Thanks for the info, I told my friend about it and he still had a few questions. After he uses a press to remove the d-limo from plant/ch and then adds the vinegar lets it sit over night then separates the two and then repeats this about 3 more times with same d-limo. Question, what about the original plant material left over that is mixed with calcium hydroxide, does he add new d-limo to this and try the process again and try to get a few pulls more? Just wanting to know if there might still be some mescaline left in that ground up plant matter? is it worth it to try and extract more using new d-limo or the left over d-limo and add just enough new d-limo to try and get any left over mescaline that may linger in the original plant/calcium hydroxide mixture?

After you do the vinegar pulls from the d-limo, that d-limo is mostly free'd back up for more pulls from the cactus mix. It will definitely take more than one round of pulls to get all the mescaline out of the plant material. 3-5 pulls should get most of it, so re-use the d-limo at least that many times. No need to add fresh d-limo unless your cactus mix starts absorbing too much of the original. By the time I'm done with all my pulls, usually half of the d-limo volume I originally measured out has coagulated with the cactus mix, inseparably. So for the final pulls, I'll sometimes add extra d-limo just to have enough to work with and keep the rest of the steps at correct ratios.

OK, so he does 3-5 pulls from the plant material, does he do 3-5 pulls with vinegar/d-limo after each pull from the plant material? if so this could amount to 16 or more d-limo/vinegar pulls?
