Ok so after spending 4 days to find out if the capital city of my country has a store that sells agar-agar I understood that there is none here.I don't want to spend the effort to order it online ,so I started searching for a substitute and found a great tek that has worked for other people and it is by using very fine ground BRF with some water done in a very thin layer.I am guessing the starch or other carbohydrates make this mixture gel-like that's why it works as a good substitute.I don't know if any of you tried this but it seems promising and I want to do some strain isolation from a nice large fruit I have. The other thing I plan on doing is some sort of GLC from it ,I think it may work great since it will colonize very fast and I will skip the risk of contaminating my already colonized grain jar

P.S.-By the way where do I write the essay where I can get promoted to a full member ,I want to post in the Mushroom cultivation thread
