For the past week or so ive been smoking changa in a glass bong. Ive only smoked from it 5 or 6 times & changa has been the only thing smoked from it. The water hasnt been changed yet & its taking on a slight yellow discoloration which is becoming more distinct every time i smoke from it. I can see the slider getting pretty resinated with yellow resin too.

Any idea what may be causing the color change?
I know freebase dmt & harmalas dont dissolve in water & it appears there is some very tiny white particles floating around in the water.

For now im just assuming its a mixture of ash & something from my leaf material getting caught up in the water but im thinking about changing the water & evaporating it & seeing what it leaves. The color the water is taking on looks strangely similar to the color of the resin building in the stem.

Yeah changa can really stink the bong out terribly , I clean mine after every smoke ! But acetone will make it all sparkle like new |

When you clean the bong with acetone, evaporate it and add the result to your next extraction. A LOT of the condensed goo is DMT. I find that DMT collects much more quickly in my vape than with cannabis. You can discard the water since there won't be any DMT that is soluble in it. |

All of the above, acetone to clean works wonders, add rock salt to the mix and you have something better than 420 cleaner. But just use acetone if u decide to add it back to the next mix-o-changa. But its typical that it tints yellow.

Ill have to clean it before i use it again then lol.
Im still a little unclear about evapping the dirty water though.
I know freebase dmt & harmalas are not water soluble. Is it possible that some small particles end up trapped in the water & float around undissolved the way insoluble impurities do in solvent during recrystallization?

They mean discard the water ! Then place acetone in the bong , swirl about then keep the dirty acetone and use it instead of clean acetone to make you're next batch of changa !! |
