I went through all 10 pages of the GVG thread and only once in passing is it implied that herbs can be used in place of the mesh screen or volcano liquid pad. Also, doesn't seem to be any gvg users in chat for the past few hours.

Anyway, my GVG arrives tomorrow, and I don't have either of those materials. Not that they would be hard to get, but, I'm wondering if any of you simply use a small bed of cannabis on a screen or two in place of the aforementioned.

Can anyone confirm that a small bed of cannabis will sufficiently keep melted DMT oil from running down the hole?


I know some people prefer not to have cannabis with their journey but I've found so far that I really enjoy the presence of cannabis with my trips. Especially for baselining effects. Having said this, the goal is not necessarily to vape the thc, I just want enough cannabis to stop the DMT from oozing through.

Super excited for tomorrow! I've only done sandwich method thus far.
