Hi. I recently cracked a quart jar of basic soup into a pan of hot water. About another quarts worth. It now fits in a half gallon mason jar. Anyways, it was based enough before but with the added water it is 12 plus ph. I think i pulled the PH tester out at 12.2. Can I do pulls on it at this new PH since it was already freebased? or should I add more sodium hydroxide to get 14 again? Thanks. Its not hard to get lye but i am out of supplies right now so it would have to wait.

pH 11 is adequate to freebase ... 12 is plenty.

Thanks very much. I just re-read your max ion tek and was coming to say i found the answer. This is the tek I will be using next. Mine have all seemed to end up being hybrids with an acid boil instead of a freeze or just hot water bath. They have gotten noticeably better the last couple of times - the mistakes I have made such as above.
